The photographs this week are the winning and placed entries from the competitions we held at the anniversary meeting in Stanton Fitzwarren.
The Audrey Bury Competition is held annually, it is an 'open' competition that is judged by other members who have not entered any work. We show you the top four photographs chosen by the judges; the winning photograph of the pelican was taken by Steve Hawes, his first time in entering a competition.
At each meeting we have a 'My Day Out' competition. Members visit various locations during the weekend and they can submit a single photograph taken on one of their visits. This is a fun competition that can show many individual and amusing pictures. The winner this time was again Steve Hawes, who took the sculpture of the owl with the stunning eyes.
