Our Newsletter Editor Retires With All Our Thanks
16th February 2024
Recognition of Geoffrey Harris’s role as Editor of the Newsletter.
We have reached another milestone in the history of the Fellowship. The February 2024 edition of the newsletter will be the last that Geoffrey will produce as editor as he has decided to retire from that very important role.
Geoffrey has been editor of the newsletter for the past ten years and has always managed to produce an interesting newsletter consistently throughout that period.
Before taking over from Gerald Stone who acted as editor for the few years after Harold Gallighan retired, Geoffrey had previously been editor of the newsletter and hence was regarded as the resident expert.
I would like to thank Geoffrey on behalf of the Fellowship for his commitment to the newsletter which has been so important to keep members informed of events and a source of so many interesting articles.
We look forward to supporting the new editor, Gareth Lewis, no doubt ably assisted by his wife Caroline in upholding the high standard of the Fellowship newsletter to which we have become accustomed.
The next event of note will be the fiftieth anniversary of the Fellowship, which will be celebrated in 2025.
On behalf of the membership, “Thank you Geoffrey for your contribution to the success of the group and we wish you many happy years as an Honorary Member.”
Cled Lewis.
