Philip Rigby - The Eden Project and a Leica Q3

Following on from my last article, the October half term presented me with an opportunity to put the Q3 through it’s paces. My wife and l had gone down to Cornwall to visit our daughter and her family, and despite my reservations about going to ANY attraction during school half terms, we duly went and spent most of a day at The Eden Project ( l hadn’t realised there were that many children in Cornwall).
I have to admit that the sheer number of people at The Eden Project, did make life a little difficult, and the staff very quickly told me to desist from clambering around some of the beds, but apart from that we had an enjoyable day, and the following are a selection of images taken on the day.

By David Askham: Beautiful, Philip. The Eden Project can be enjoyed on many levels, regardless of your specific interests. You have chosen flower portraits where you could skillfully avoid the myriad of children. When there, I marvel at the ecosystems, so skillfully devised. I urge you to return in an off-peak time, if such exists. I particularly like your portrait of the 'ever-lastings'. (Helichrysum?) Lovely colours!
By Pam: Lovely photos of flowers Philip. I have never been to the Eden Project but have seen photos of it in the past
I also like taking photos of flowers but sometimes they can be difficult if there is a lot of greenery around them
I suppose I should practice more. Maybe one day I will succeed.
