Places Visited During Our Weekend in Frodsham in April 2024 - Gareth Lewis

17th May 2024
Gareth has sent these photographs taken on their various outings during the weekend at the end of April 2024 in Frodsham, Cheshire.

We were very lucky with the weather all through the weekend as the original forecast was for rain and more rain.

Gareth and Caroline visited Chester and Speke Hall as well as joining everyone on the day out to The National Waterways Museum and to Liverpool.

We've posted different members's photographs from the weekend as they visited different places and show their own interpretation on places.

He will be writing a full report for the Fellowship Newsletter so members can read the detail in there.

Gareth used the excellent Micro 4/3s camera - the GX9 with a Panasonic / Leica zoom attached.

Speke Hall

Chester Cathedral

Cloisters - Chester Cathdral

Angel Shadow - Liverpool Roman Catholic Cathedral

Photo comment By David Askham: Looking at the tranquil scene in the picture of the Manchester Ship canal, it is difficult to imagine the scene, one century ago, when trading ships were a regular sight on this man-made waterway.
