We Send Our Good Wishes for 2026
02nd January 2026
In: News, Short Stories
It's all over, Christmas and New Year have flown past and we hope that you had a pleasant time and that you have recovered from any over-indulgence!
So, to welcome you to the New Year, the webmaster has hogged the news with some photographs he has taken through the period. I always try to go for walks before and during Christmas and the same at New Year so I had to put up with whatever weather conditions and scenes that caught my eye but most of these were taken when the low winter sun provided graphic contrasts. I dug out my Panasonic GX7 for some of the photographs.
Next week I hope to resume posting article from members.

By Cled Lewis: Thank you Ken for some lovely photographs, the low light and colours work beautifully.
Your contribution to New Year walks is appropriate as was David’s article just before Christmas.
We have all got used to our Friday morning message from you and it is great to welcome you back.
Happy and Healthy New Year all.
Cled.
By David Askham: Ken, your picture of the River Hipper, (new to me), possesses much potential for future forays. Different seasons. Different light. Wildlife residents just waiting to be discovered. So many picture possibilities for future visits.
By Ken Davis: Thank you Cled and David,
I visit this spot several times a year David, so I could develop a theme, it works well in the low winter sun
